Testimonials

Hi Larry,

We all got together to listen to the final master and the group was floored! I am so glad that we were referred to you. Every aspect of the album sounds perfect. I can really hear that you not only mastered for overall album continuity, but took care within each song to project fluid transitions. The highs, mids, lows are represented perfectly for our music.

I'd also like to thank you for the time you spent with me listening before the master...just a few adjustments and the music poured out. That you took the time to guide me through the mastering at every phase is much appreciated. And all of that to get a major label result on a small independent budget. You definitely aren't in this business for the money and the band thanks you for your effort. All the best.

About Tony Levins latest project that Silvertone mastered...

Fantastic job! A++++. Wish I would have known about you 10 years ago! I now know where I'll be mastering all my future projects.

Was wondering if you'd be willing to sequence the mixes (some including my edits) for Tony's (Levin) Progressive Rock Instrumental CD. I can send you the songs I edit on DVD (Pro Tools files).

Best,
Scott

P.S. Call me anytime re: New Zealand. It's a magical place.

Happy to hear that Scott's very pleased. (not surprised though... great job!)

Best, (from S. of France now!)
Tony Levin

Hi Larry. Had a good listen to it all (much of it on my great home LINN system)
Sounds GREAT!

best, t. (Tony Levin)

Thanks for making the disk sound so good brother. The mastering really helped to bring out the detail and make the sound come alive. It's always great working with professionals such as yourself. Looking forward to working with you on the next project.

All the best,
Dan Toler (Toler Brothers, Allman Brothers Band, Greg Allman Band, Great Southern)

Hi Larry,

I'm really glad that Frank Moscowitz (Nevessa Studios) put me in touch with you because your musicality and enthusiasm really contributed a lot to this project. I canπt imagine that anyone else would have done as great a job as you did with the sonics - you really listen to what the music needs and man, you know how to drive that great rig of yours like a Jedi Master! I look forward to working with you again.

Best regards,
Greg Shafritz

Hey Larry,

The album sounds ridiculous and I just want to thank you again for doing such a great job mastering it. I wish we had known all that we know after talking to you, then we coulda given you some more appropriate mixes to work with. Though I do like the low end this album has.

Hi Larry,

A very special day for me, and for Robert. Big thanks for the generosity of your time, and expertise!

I'm sure we will work together in the future.

And of course, to your marvellous wife, Erica. What a meal, and what a beautiful house.

Those gardening books, which come highly recommended by Andi, are by Henry Mitchell They're called "On Gardening" (that's hard to find) also "The Essential Earth Man" "One Man's Garden"

Okay, gotta pack in some more food now!!!

best, t. (Tony Levin)

Larry,

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner - the record sounds great! There's one question about the end of it where you hear the drummer say "let's go listen to that" but I think it will pass... I had forgotten all of the curveballs built into how I recorded those files... happy accidents!

That's all for now - have a happy holiday!

Frank

Thank you so much. I am very impressed with your service to this point and we haven't even started the mastering process :)

Peace
Maurizio

And let me also say that the finished product that came out of Silvertone greatly exceeded my expectations. The EP sounds great. Thank you for your services.

Hi Larry,
Thanks for taking the time to speak with me yesterday. It was a pleasure. I'm sure your mixing tips will be invaluable, and I'm also sure to have more questions along the way. It is refreshing to encounter a person in this industry who takes an interest in his clients and their work, and who is willing to share his knowledge for the love of the art form. I was a bit apprehensive about entrusting my DIY project to someone else's ears in its final stage, but our conversation has set my mind at ease.

Thanks,
Bill
